Songtsam Lodge Benzilan

Songtsam Lodge Benzilan, at an altitude of 1900 meters, is located in a Tibetan village in the valley of the Jinsha River’s tributary on the southwest side of Benzilan town, where Deqin county meets 巴塘(Sichuan province) and Shangri-la.
It has a typical dry-hot valley climate.
Thanks to the high average annual temperature and large daily temperature difference, it is suitable for the growth of melons and fruits, and is rich in cherries, apricots, watermelons, etc.
What’s more, the local wild opuntia ficus-indica is scrumptious.
By treating Tibetan Pig, Free-Range Chicken and Nixi Chili Pepper as main ingredients, Songtsam Lodge Benzilan provides Sichuan, Yunan and Tibet fusion meals.

A CHEF'S INVITATION

Grandma style potato

Cooked and crushed baby potatoes and fry them with diced ham.
Then, mix them with pepper and fennel.
By doing so, baby potatoes would absorb the flavor of the ham, while the fennel would cleanse the palate.

Braised pork ribs with chili sauce

Firstly, stew pork ribs in soy sauce.
Secondly, scrape meat off bones and fry the meat.
Thirdly, pour the source over the meat which has been put back to the bones shaped like a bridge.
It has the tender meat and crispy skin.

Cold yak beef tendons with Nixi Chili Pepper
