There are 10 Deluxe rooms in total. The rooms range from 34m² to 44m² in size.

Songtsam Lodge Benzilan, at an altitude of 1900 meters, is located in a Tibetan village in the valley of the Jinsha River’s tributary on the southwest side of Benzilan town, where Deqin county meets BATANG (Sichuan province) and Shangri-la. It has a typical dry-hot valley climate. Thanks to the high average annual temperature and large daily temperature difference, it is suitable for the growth of melons and fruits, and is rich in cherries, apricots, watermelons, etc. What’s more, the local wild opuntia ficus-indica is scrumptious. By treating Tibetan Pig, Free-Range Chicken and Nixi Chili Pepper as main ingredients, Songtsam Lodge Benzilan provides Sichuan, Yunan and Tibet fusion meals.

Benzilan stands on a narrow strip of land on the right bank of the Upper Yangtze River, tucked between the water and the sharply rising hills. As the altitude falls by more than 1,000m, the temperature rises, and travellers now arrive at another Shangri-La rich in blooming flowers and flourishing trees. Some of the region’s most delicious fruit is grown here, including juicy grapes and watermelons during the summer, and mouth-watering tangerine in the autumn.

Gedong Festival is an unusual Tibetan Buddhist festival held in Yunnan’s monasteries. The Cham dance performed on the ceremony is the one of most powerful scenes that you have ever seen before. For most Tibetan people， the Cham dance is the climax, as performers put on masks and clothes that portray deities and ghosts .
Gedong Festival usually takes place in winter and the specific date is decided by the different religious sects.
